House of Yes Presents is now recruiting Production Manager(s) for our Fall season at Industry City:

House of Yes is a creative collective with a theatrical nightclub venue in Bushwick, Brooklyn that has become a beacon of NYC nightlife. We are renowned for programming and producing outrageous dance parties, circus spectacles, immersive cinema, aerial & cabaret shows. In addition to our in-house programming, we offer our space for private events, fundraisers and community activities. Each night is specially curated to present a fusion of music, visual art, theatrics and interactive elements. We are a fast growing company being recognized on an international level for holding the culture of nightlife to a higher standard, through our inclusive programming and consent initiatives.

The Production Manager oversees the production department for the House of Yes Presents festivals occurring at Industry City in Fall of 2026. This role requires someone who thrives in environments that are energetic and fast; they are a natural born leader and highly skilled and experienced in the production industry. Staying fluid yet executing the tasks set out to them is paramount in being successful in this role. The Production Manager is a forward-thinking leader who takes initiative, is proactive about introducing fresh ideas and constructive criticism.

rePORTS TO: House of Yes Partners and Production Director

hours

  • W2 and seasonal for Fall 2026; full-time weekly schedule

  • Must be available early September - early November

  • Remote work permitted for pre and post-production with supervision by House of Yes Partners

  • Onsite work at Industry City required. Night and weekend availability may be required on a case by case basis

responsibilities (include but not an exhaustive list)

  • Production Crew outreach, selection, and official recruitment

  • Planning and executing Production schedule 

  • Adapting schedule to any changes as they may arise

  • Completing all tasks in a timely fashion that are in relation to HR and payroll

  • Maintaining, reviewing, and executing the daily Keep List (i.e daily to-do list) in order of importance

  • Delegating tasks to correct team members based on their strengths and availability 

  • Ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner by Production Crew

  • Manage and supervise load-in and load-out periods, including vendor and rental load-ins and load-outs, ensuring all protocol, processes, and timelines are followed

  • Properly and fully dispersing information, as well as any updates, to the Production Crew and other key stakeholders; attending team meetings as required 

  • Assisting Lead HQ Coordinator in inventory management and ensuring that inventory and incidentals never run to a dangerously low

  • Participate in finding solutions that will uphold the artistic intention of projects and events while balancing timelines and deliverables 

  • Actively problem solving as unforeseen changes arise

  • Identifying areas that need attention 

  • Maintain venue specific safety guidelines including aerial, fire and equipment safety

  • Ensure creative aspects of the event space remain intact and fully functional 

  • Opening and / or closing the venue during venue rental period

  • Actively spots issues or inefficiencies and works to quickly resolve them, never abandoning the issue until it is completely resolved

  • Creating a positive, rewarding work environment for all House of Yes staff while acting as an exemplary employee and leader

  • Other duties as assigned by the House of Yes Presents Partners

requirements

  • 21+

  • Must be able to legally work in the USA

  • 5+ years of experience in a Production Manager / Executive Production-Leadership role at festivals and / or other large-scale productions, nightclubs, concert spaces, or similar venues

  • FDNY F03 / F04 (if you do not have it upon hiring, must receive prior to first event week)

  • Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and standing for long periods of time 

  • Excellent communication, oral, and written skills

  • Excellent leadership skills and comfortable managing teams with the utmost professionalism

  • Receptive to change and pivoting to better serve the organization as a whole; solution-oriented mindset 

  • Comfortable in nightlife and/or festival, queer, and alternative spaces as well as large crowds

compensation

  • Pre and Post-Production Administrative Work: range of $35-$40.00 per hour

  • Load-in-Load Out Periods: Range of $1,800-$2,400.00 weekly salary based on experience, plus organizational and industrial perks
