House of Yes is a creative collective with a theatrical nightclub venue in Bushwick, Brooklyn that has become a beacon of NYC nightlife. We are renowned for programming and producing outrageous dance parties, circus spectacles, immersive cinema, aerial & cabaret shows. In addition to our in-house programming, we offer our space for private events, fundraisers and community activities. Each night is specially curated to present a fusion of music, visual art, theatrics and interactive elements.
We are a fast-growing company that also produces large-scale offsite events, and is recognized on an international level for holding the culture of nightlife to a higher standard, through our inclusive programming and consent initiatives.
Job Overview
The Ticketing Manager is a critical operational role responsible for managing all ticketing operations, supporting booking and artist logistics, and serving as a key liaison between artists, production teams, and internal departments. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, technical proficiency across multiple platforms, and the ability to manage high-volume event operations with precision and efficiency. We expect you to be a forward-thinking self-starter who takes initiative and is proactive about introducing fresh ideas.
Responsibilities
Own ticket page creation & monitoring across multiple ticketing platforms
Audit HOY ticketing platforms and calendars to ensure accuracy and consistency
Create promo codes, unique tracking links, ticket deals, and ticket promo links
Monitor and provide ticketing data for internal & external reporting
Ensure all tickets are uploaded to scanning platform before event commences (weekend shift)
Resolve ticketing platform issues and participate in monthly Shotgun meetings
Handle customer inquiries and refund requests via tickets@houseofyes.org
Manage event guest lists
Update the HOY website calendars
Update event flyers as needed (when lineup info changes)
Ensure all relevant ticketing info is added to internal production docs
Software & Tools
This position requires the use of the following platforms:
Project Management: Monday.com, G-Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs)
Communication: Slack, G-Suite
Ticketing Platforms: Shotgun, Dice, Resident Advisor, Eventbrite, TodayTix
Design Tools: Canva, Photoshop (HOY provides a license)
Requirements
21+ and legally able to work in the USA
Based in the NYC metro area
Strong attention to detail - hyper-organized & highly accurate
Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Able to multitask gracefully in a fast-paced and schedule-based environment
Expert copywriting skills with ability to express the House of Yes voice and style
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience and interest in nightlife, events, or entertainment industry preferred
Customer service experience with de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
Huge plus:
Ability to leverage AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT to streamline administrative tasks
Prior experience working in Box Office, Booking Departments, and/or Event Production

Hours and Expectations
Position type: W2 employee; part-time with potential to advance to full-time
Training pay rate: $25/hour
Post-training pay rate: $28/hour
Work location: Remote/work from home to start
Once full-time: On-site participation required on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and occasionally events
Meeting participation: Remote attendance required for Monday morning and Friday afternoon booking/marketing meetings
Early evening availability for 30-45 minutes on Fridays/Saturdays
Reporting Structure
Reports to Music & Booking Director and responds to requests from Marketing Director and relevant venue managers.
Work Environment
Fast-paced nightlife venue with high volume of events. Requires coordination across multiple departments including Production, Marketing, Accounting, and Artist Liaisons. Position involves both remote administrative work and on-site event support.
