Summer is over. Okay, not technically. In case you didn’t know, this is the official Last Weekend of Summer… so get your ass to the beach, get a tan, go swimming and all that crap, and then come say goodbye to summer at the House of Yes. Dance your sandals off on our sand-free dance floor Thursday Night. Friday night we’re bringing you an evening fit for a cruise ship, only not tacky. Meaning: Dress nice!

That’s right mofos. After taking a summer siesta due to scheduling issues, No Parking is back in e-f-f-f-u-c-k-i-n-g fect son. Y’know the drill. Its all about getting the fuck DOWN son! Dancing with no pretense at the door or on the floor. No parking ppl. Dance police will drag you off and pull some capoeira shizz on you!

Guest DJs include the Treehouse posse (Treeboy and Raspberry Jones) who’ve been doing a coolio wednes early thaang for min spinning alongside folks like Alex from Tokyo and Four Tet, and also the my (wo)man my mellow DJ Fucci who’s been in the downtown disco trenches for a min now and currently programs muzak in cyberlandia for dance dance revolt part world war 4.

Skybox, one of the main projects keeping House of Yes afloat presents a tsunami of a show! Our most dedicated first mates will throw you overboard with an evening of aquatic delights. With over 15 aerial acts, this is the most exiting thing to have washed ashore in all of Brooklyn. MC’d by the famous Ben Devoe of the infamous Bushwick Boat.

NOT WAVING BUT DROWNING’s nautical disaster-themed hoedown will feature a tasty blend of sea shanties, Weimar decadence, and absinthe-tinged mayhem. The ukulele speakeasy swing of THE MOONLIGHTERS, the Balkan brass powder keg VEVERITSE, and convivial and coquettish burlesque and bellydancing by DARLINDA JUST DARLINDA and PAIGE will round out the festivities as we play ‘til the last lifeboat is launched.
