Skybox Aerial Variety Show: OBSESSION

February means sexiness and romance. February reeks of love, lust, passion and it’s adorned with stuff shaped like hearts. But when people think of February they don’t often think of Love’s darker, more complicated cousin: OBSESSION. And if perchance they do, the thought is usually fleeting and diluted, like a whiff of the eponymous Calvin Klein perfume. Come explore the many interpretations of Obsession, and you too may become…Obsessed!

So, as everyone else spends his or her February in a cutesy chocolate-heart induced sugar-coma, we here at the Sky Box at the House of Yes will be meticulously delving into the heart of OBSESSION. We’ll be just as sticky, but for different reasons. And it need not be mentioned that there will also be fanfare, sexy people and the most impressive and death defying aerial acts EVER! We do hope you join us.

Starring: Trixie Little and Evil Hate Monkey! Anya Sapozhnikova! Flag Man (as seen on the Ellen Degenerous Show!) Flambeaux!! Una Mimnagh! Creamed Stu! Paul Hawxhurst! Ashley Perez, Stephanie Dodd and Justin Badger! and Kat Pratt (nyc debut!)

BLUNDERTOWN

An evening that is ready, willing, and waiting to take you beyond the beyond! A party so good it is worth the morning after. So throw together your fiercest look, get on your dancing shoes, leave logic at the door, and join us.

Eric Schmalenberger along with Goldie Rush and Communication Corporation are proud to present BLUNDERTOWN, an evening of performance and celebration. Set for Friday February 24th at The House of Yes in beautiful Bushwick Brooklyn, the night will incorporate quite a bit of badassness, super heroics, things that must be seen to be believed, a surprise or two, and a whole mess of sexy (so bring a change or two of underwear please) This Blunderific evening will be celebrating the births of Mr. Schmalenberger and Ms. Goldie Rush who are both aging so gracefully you would think they were not aging at all. Also being celebrated is the release of Communication Corporations Set in Motion EP.

Other folks who will be taking to the stage will include the one and only Head Mistress of the New York School of Burlesque Ms. Jo Boobs, the very sexy dancers of both Rachel Klein Productions and The Love

Show, and The House of Yes’s own Spazz Hands, With aerial incredibleness provided by the likes of Anya Sapozhnikova, Nicki Miller, Kae Burke and Jan Manke. Who else may join in the fun… you will have to come to the show to see.

Before, after, between, and around the performances, enjoy a bit of a dance party courtesy of DJ REACH and The House of Yes’s own DJ K’Mazing. Also as a special treat itsveggietime.com’s Andriana Santiago! Hello mouthgasm!!!
