Birds, Ghosts and Marching Bands
This is the last weekend to see our latest in-house production,
Twitchers. The first week was quite honestly one of the best shows to
be seen in our theatre…and that’s not just our own opinion either!
This weekend, we’ll be doing it all again, just for you…but that’s
not all. We are also having a marching-band after-party on Thursday
following Twitchers! Seriously, if you miss this show, you might feel
performance deprived and artistically unsatisfied. See it.
In Make Fun, Halloween is taking over the studio, and we will be
offering weekly Wednesday costume workshops! Make it.
Also for Halloween (Our Official Favorite Holiday), we are once again
sharing the spotlight and inviting artists to collaborate on our 1st
annual Haunted House of Yes. Do it.

spectacle, and pure emotion.
The Desert Sin Dance Company, known internationally for their edgy
and sensational fusion of dance is one of the most experimental,
cutting-edge theatrical dance companies in North America.
Desert Sin will be teaming up with Mystery Bird Puppet Theater, Lady
Circus, and The House of Yes Theater to create a Brooklyn
bird-watching experience of a lifetime!

Make Fun: Halloween Workshops
7PM- 11PM $20
Make Fun Studios at House of Yes invites you into the costume studio
to make the best Halloween costume…ever. Our workshop includes full
access to the Make Fun facilities, with home and industrial sewing
machines, sergers and cover stitch machines, pattern making materials
AND FREE FABRIC AND TRIM! This $20 workshop will have you looking
fabulous and you learn a thing or two too.
We will also be selling items from our costume collection! We will
have $5 bins of costumes and wigs plus other great deals on theatrical
costumes, commercial costumes both deluxe and economy and original
designs by Kae Burke and 3rd Earth designs. Get help from the pros!
Kae and Tara have years of experience working with people to build
their character from scratch, or modify existing clothes and costumes.
Best of all, you can brag to your friends that YOU MADE IT YOURSELF!

Artists/Designers/Makers Call for
Participation:::::::::::::::::::::::
Haunted House of Yes seeking Art Stars!
We are currently accepting submissions from artists of all types to
contribute to Haunted House of Yes. There is a small budget, all the
materials you can use and unlimited creative license allotted for this
project. The Haunted House of Yes will run Friday October 30th, 7pm
– 2am and Saturday October 31st, 10pm – 2am. As an installation
artist you do not have to physically be there on the 31st…but you’ll
want to be. Its going to be more fun than smashing jack-o-lanterns.
