A new circus theater adventure set in turn-of-the-century New York City.

The Wonderneath explores the otherworldly lair rumbling below the city’s surface, where steam energy has seeped through granite and crystal, fractalized, and created a land where all that is wondered comes to be.

Written and produced by Ali Schmitz, the creative force crowned Coney Island’s Best Mermaid 2009, The Wonderneath stars the captivating Kai Altair and features live jazz and blues stylings by Tin Pan. Featuring dazzling performances by Claire de Luxe, Jordann Baker, Ali Luminescent, and Ellie Mio of Lady Circus; Ateles Aerial; Renata of Desert Sin and Alchemy Dance Theater; Ahnika Delirium, and Bex Burton. Okay, so our friends are hosting a Haiti Fundraiser at the House of Yes this Friday!
Yes! We DO care! Don’t you? Yes you do! Come Help Haiti by hooping, dancing and having fun.

Saturday, we’re all about AERIAL, because thats what we do, that’s what we love, and we have 30 foot ceilings!
We want more friends to do aerial with us so Saturday you can come hang out with us! …. literally.
If you’re afraid of heights, thats fine! Come enjoy our Aerial Variety show and watch other people get high.

The parade is only 3 months away, and we’re inviting all aerialists to join us in a free workout session at Sky Box from 5-7pm on Saturday, February 20th. Come dust off your latest routine and start working on new tricks for the Parade. Some experience is necessary to fly, but everyone is welcome to come watch!

We’d love you to join us! To participate, click here or go to the Dance Parade website (danceparade.org) and click on “Participate”/”In the Parade”. Choose to sign up as an individual, and select “Aerial – The Sky Box” from the drop-down list. Fill out the rest of the information, and also send an email to Justine with your contact information and preferred apparatus.

Then…stick around for the Aerial Variety Show!! doors at 8 show at 9. Pretty much all ages if you look past the occasional full frontal nudity.
