Glass Bandits

Being the real fancy theater that we are, we gave a troupe we felt deserved it a residency here for a few months. We’re always on the lookout for inspired and ambitious artists. Please let us know if you too want to produce something here.

Glass Bandits present: In Memoriam

glassbandits

Told in 13 acts, “Memoriam” explores the story of a troupe of actors on the last leg of their vaudeville tour. On the last night of their show, at the House of Yes, relationships hit a breaking point, while the lines between what is real and what is scripted begin to blur. A true collaboration, the project is an assembly of text, clown, music, and dance. This rag-tag show is not to be missed!

Directed by Eddie Prunoske

With: Andy Bean, Caitlin Bebb, Christopher Devlin, Hollye Gilbert, Carl Holder, Carter Hudson, Leon Pease, and Craig Strube.

House of Halloween Hangover

We survived Halloween…kind of.  Our wigs are caked in dried blood, our bodies and egos are bruised, and our psyches are forever scarred from this weekend. We made it out alive, or at least half-alive, and The House of Yes is no longer haunted (check out www.houseofyes.org/gallery/ to see how terrible it got!). Like it or not, there is life after Halloween and we are still as busy as ever with workshops, clothing swaps and dance parties. Come over to House of Yes this week, and we will help you get over your Post-Halloween-Depression.

“Our Friends’ House Burned Down” Clothing Swap!

Clean out your room, closet and storage unit and bring your shit over to the House of Yes for our 2nd annual “Our Friends’ House Burned Down” Clothing Swap!  Our friends Flambeaux, Akim and Lady C recently experienced a fire that ripped through their apartments and ruined all of their belongings.  Therefore, we are hosting a clothing & stuff swap to help you clear some space and also to give our friends some clothes and necessities. Everyone is welcomed to swap and grab new  things, but the people who had their house burn down get first dibs.  They can also use towels, plates, and that kinda thing. Drop stuff off at House of Yes if you can’t be here Wednesday. Guys and Girls clothes needed!
